Orcia wine festival

From April 29 to May 1, 2011, in the historical halls of Palazzo Chigi in San Quirico d'Orcia, will take place the 2011 edition of the Orcia Wine Festival, an event dedicated to the best wines of the Val d'Orcia, one of the newest DOC areas of Tuscany.
Orcia Wine Festival, an event organized by the Consortium of Orcia Wines and by The Orcia Wine Routes, in collaboration with the ONAV and the Enoteca Italiana, is renewed this year and aims to let you discover the true wine excellence of the area, through guided tastings, tastings of wine and local products, and for wine tourists through the opportunity to visit directly the wineries producing the Orcia DOC Wines.
But Orcia Wine Festival will not only be an important promotional showcase for many wineries of the area, but also a large trade show, where you will be able buy wine, extra vinrgin olive oil and other products typical of the Siena countryside of Siena, at an unbeatable price.
Finally, new this year, the Guest territory: at Orcia Wine Festival will be present a selection of the best producers of Matera DOC wines, to present their finest wine production and to introduce their wines.
